THERE IS AN IDAHO STATE PARK DAY USE FEE FOR ALL VEHICLES.
Check with park personnel for hours before June 1 and After September 1.
Athol is half way between Coeur d'Alene to the south and Sandpoint to the north on US 95.
Take the ID 54/Athol/Farragut Exit.
Park Headquarters is approximately 4 miles east (right) of US 95.
The route is a wilderness scenic trail through old growth forests, cedar groves, meadows and along one of
America's most beautiful lakes. Wildlife including rabbits, squirrels, deer, bear and a variety of birds have
been seen on this trail.
Water and Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center, Beaver Bay (when open) and camping loops.
WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL DETERMINE YOUR TRAIL EXPERIENCE.
